Bishop Ranch Partners with Moana Restaurant Group to Bring San Ramon a Fresh Approach to Local Dining

Bishop Ranch officials today announced a partnership with Moana Restaurant Group to create a culinary hub at the center of 2600, the premier office building in the heart of Bishop Ranch.

Roundhouse Market will include three quick-serve concepts, an upscale restaurant and coffee bar – all currently under construction and slated to open later this year. Roundhouse Market will feature three new dining options to serve the local business community and neighbors on the go: a Mexican taqueria, an Italian pizzeria and a gourmet sandwich and salad bar. A coffee bar in the lobby of 2600 will serve artisanal coffees, teas and a variety of premade goods throughout the day. And a stylish, full-service New American restaurant with lakefront dock patio will complement the Roundhouse Market, providing an ideal setting for business lunches or a night out with friends and family.

“San Ramon has been hungry for something different, and that’s what inspired us to refresh the dining options within Bishop Ranch and partner with Moana Restaurant Group,” said Alexander Mehran Jr., President and COO of Sunset Development Company, Bishop Ranch’s planner and developer. “Working with Moana — a creative company with outstanding credentials and a history of creating quality dining experiences — gives us the opportunity to reinvent the cafeteria environment as we replace it with the Roundhouse Market. ”Moana Restaurant Group owns and operates a portfolio of inspired dining concepts including Molina, The Farmers Union, Corners Tavern, Piatti, Paragon and El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen.”
