Trains run regularly to inter modal transit centers served by the free Bishop Ranch Express Buses, getting you to San Ramon from throughout the region via public rail.
The Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) offers four trains daily between the Central Valley and Pleasanton. The Bishop Ranch 92X Express meets these trains to provide a seamless car-free commute option for Bishop Ranch employees living in the Central Valley. Skip the congestion on I-205 and I-580 and use your commute time productively on the ACE Train.

Take BART to Walnut Creek or Dublin and board a Bishop Ranch Local or Express bus to the park. Bikes are allowed on all trains at all times, except the lead car.
BART has five lines: the Pittsburg/Bay Point (Yellow) line provides direct service to Walnut Creek north of Bishop Ranch and the Dublin/Pleasanton (Blue) line serves Dublin/Pleasanton BART south of Bishop Ranch. These two stations are served by direct and frequent local and express bus service throughout the morning and evening commute providing a great alternative to driving.
SMART is the San Francisco Bay Area’s newest transportation option for travel, offering passenger rail service in Sonoma and Marin counties. SMART’s initial 43 miles of rail corridor includes 10 stations, from the Sonoma County Airport to Downtown San Rafael.
Capitol Corridor rail runs from San Jose to Sacramento, roughly parallel to I-680 and I-80. One train a day continues through the eastern Sacramento suburbs to Auburn. This train is a good way for commuters or transit-dependent job applicants who live along the northern part of the I-80 corridor to get to Bishop Ranch. Trains drop in Richmond where riders can then transfer to BART. Riders can also travel to Martinez and transfer to the 98X Express to Walnut Creek and transfer to the 96X Express to Bishop Ranch.
eBART is coming to East Contra Costa County! Construction on this exciting project has already commenced. Being built in coordination with the Highway 4 widening project, the combined project represents approximately $1 Billion invested in the corridor.

The DMU train was chosen to bring BART-quality rail service to East County at a much lower cost than conventional BART. The eBART project is 60% less expensive than conventional BART. Nothing about eBART precludes construction of conventional BART in the future given adequate ridership and funding.eBART is a new type of train for BART, although they are widely in use in Europe and elsewhere in the US. Called DMU (for diesel multiple-unit) trains, they are smaller than BART trains, have comfortable seats, wide windows and level boarding. eBART will allow East County residents to board a train at Hillcrest Avenue and arrive at Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station in 10 minutes. eBART trains will be timed to meet BART trains at Pittsburg/Bay Point.
eBART stations will support multi-modal access: pedestrians, cyclists, Tri Delta Transit buses, and parking will all be accommodated.
eBART will provide over 600 construction jobs, and 40 to 80 permanent BART jobs once in operation.
The Oakland Airport Connector (OAC) links BART’s Coliseum station with the Oakland International Airport via a mostly elevated automated people mover (APM) system along Hegenberger Avenue. Trains will leave every four to five minutes between the airport and BART stations, replacing the current AirBART bus system. Similar to the AirTrain at the San Francisco International Airport, Oakland will now have a state-of-the-art train-to-plane connection, making it an attractive destination for business and travel.
