California Symphony
Community Concert

Sunday, September 16, 5:30 p.m.
San Ramon Central Park
12501 Alcosta Boulevard, San Ramon
FREE

Third time’s a charm: Don’t miss the California Symphony’s third annual performance in San Ramon. Last year’s concert drew an audience of 1,000 who enjoyed the beautiful music while relaxing on the lawns at Central Park.

We invite you and your family and friends to bring a picnic and blanket and spend the late afternoon and evening. No tickets, no reservations—just come at your leisure and enjoy.

Some additions to this year’s festivities: An hour before the concert, the Animal Rescue Foundation will be on hand with its “Pet Hug Pack.” These therapy pets are well suited for abused children, victims of violence, the elderly and others who gain comfort from a healing connection with companion animals.

As for the concert, 13-year-old Carrie Lynn Brandon will make her debut with the California Symphony. There will also be a special “Tribute to Star Wars” with surprise guests, marking the 30th anniversary of the sci-fi masterpiece.
