It’s that time of year again: Sutter Health Nurses Association and Hospice will administer flu shots and pneumonia shots at Bishop Ranch on October 17.
Who should avoid getting a flu shot? Anyone who has had a severe reaction to a flu shot or is allergic to eggs, egg products or thimerosal (used in contact lens solutions). A preservative-free flu vaccine will also be available for pregnant women for $30.
