And the Winner Is…

The Reflections luxury condominium community recently teamed up with Bishop Ranch for an extraordinary giveaway of a one-bedroom home to a lucky employee. The winner of the September 16 drawing was Monica Alvarez, who is employed at David Evans & Associates in Bishop Ranch 8.

Alvarez, who currently commutes an hour and a half each way, looks forward to living right across the street from her employer. “I feel so fortunate and grateful, and I’m really looking forward to moving in,” she says. Congratulations, Monica!

Bishop Ranch Program
Named Best in the U.S
for Commuters

The Bishop Ranch Transportation Center recently received the distinction of being named the “Best of the Best” workplace program in America by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. This is the first time one program has been singled out among thousands for this honor.

“We earn it every day by helping our commuters find the best solution for their personal commuting situation,” says Marci McGuire, Bishop Ranch’s transportation program manager. “We focus on meeting their needs: saving time, saving money, and reducing stress. They get the best we have to offer.”

The Transportation Center serves as a one-stop central point of contact for employers and commuters, providing information on incentives and offering helpful tips to smooth out even the most difficult trips. A recent survey shows that 65 percent of employees find out about the Transportation Center from their employer, and another 22 percent find out from friends or co-workers.

Bishop Ranch started the Transportation Center because it knows employers benefit by having healthier, happier employees. A strong, balanced commuter program improves recruitment and employee retention, which has a positive impact on companies’ bottom lines.

To contact the Transportation Center, call 830-0101 or email brtc@bishopranch.com.
