Twilight Golf

Canyon Lakes Golf Course
640 Bollinger Canyon Way
San Ramon
April 17–May 22, $150

Like to relax after work with a friendly game of golf? Then you might be happy to hear that we’ve made arrangements for Bishop Ranch tenants to play at Canyon Lakes Golf Course for six Tuesdays this Spring.

The cost includes a golf cart and nine holes of golf. If you would prefer to set up your own foursome, please indicate that when you sign up. Tee times start promptly at 4:30 p.m. and continue at 10-minute intervals until 6 p.m. You should arrive 10 minutes before your tee time to check in at the Pro Shop. Everyone is asked to play ready golf.

To sign up, call Tenant Services at 543-0100. The last date to sign up is Friday, April 13. You are signing up for six weeks; full payment is due on the first play date. If you are not able to play one of those weeks, you can either have someone else play in your spot — just have them show up under your name — or forfeit $25 for a no-show that week. There will not be any refunds for no-shows.

Bike to Work Day 2007

Mark your calendar: Thursday, May 17, is Bike to Work Day. The Bishop Ranch Transportation Center will host an Energizer Station from 6 to 9 a.m. and from 3 to 5 p.m. on the Iron Horse Trail at Bollinger Canyon Road. Refreshments, information, prizes, bike bags, T-shirts and promotional items will be available to employees who bicycle to work that day. (Last year, 500 Bishop Ranch employees participated.)

Register at www.511.org for a chance to win the regional grand prize and for information about bicycling activities around the Bay Area during May.
